About Hatish

Hatish has a successful track record of managing and co-ordinating projects across various sectors spanning over 18 years.  He brings considerable value from a previous Client role within a major private hospital organisation in the UK with a £1billion property portfolio.  During this time he has held responsibility for planning, developing strategies & feasibilities, implementing, budgeting and co-ordinating property developments.  The value added comes from experience sitting both ‘sides of the fence’ i.e. Client and Consultant.

Hatish is a clear communicator with attention to detail and has developed a clear understanding of Client needs with a proven record of adding value to project set-ups, contract implementation and project delivery.

Hatish graduated from the University of Greenwich in London.  His first role was as a Project Manager’s assistant working on a major retail roll-out across the UK for a well known High Street retailer.  This involved a ‘fast-track’ delivery approach where out of the 500 stores nationwide, 4 would start on site each consecutive week!  The pressure and intensity drew Hatish into pursuing a career in project management.

His career developed swiftly and broadly with projects at Heathrow Airport and for multi-national companies such as Dell Computers.  Hatish took a role at BUPA, a private healthcare provider which had 36 hospitals within their property portfolio.  Over the 5 years with BUPA, Hatish learned a lot about Client needs and with guidance from some inspirational colleagues, he managed a number of high profile hospital projects including new builds and refurbishments of theatres, daycares, 9 MRI suites and pretty much the full array of healthcare facilities.

Hatish left the UK in 2005 with his family to experience a new adventure.  Having worked with 2 reputable project management companies in Auckland, Hatish decided to establish Perficio with a vision to offer Clients a 'true' project management service that differs from the tick-box process often used.
